Whether you have lived in Byron all your life or have recently moved here, you’ll quickly understand that this is a special place. Byron, a Better Hometown Community, offers small town charm, beautiful new subdivisions, a thriving industrial park, great schools and so much more. Yet it is still just minutes from Macon, Warner Robins and Robins Air Force Base. It is a great place to live away from the hustle and bustle of our regional work centers, but with exits within the city limits off Interstate 75, Byron is poised for economic growth of its own.
Whether you choose Byron for its rural/small town simplicity or for the potential it provides to entrepreneurs and manufacturers, you will find a supportive community that melds tradition with innovation, uses its natural resources responsibly, maintains fiscal health, and promotes the vitality and wellbeing of its businesses, citizens, and visitors.
The Byron Mayor and Council meet in regular session the second Monday of every month at 6 p.m. All official regular meetings are in the Council Chamber at the Byron Municipal Complex, 401 Main Street, Byron, Georgia unless otherwise noted.
