Responsible for operating various types of heavy construction equipment in support of road, sewer, stormwater, and water line maintenance and repair, along with other construction and public works activities. Should possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in operating heavy equipment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform duties and responsibilities of the position. Must possess a valid Georgia Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. CDLs preferred or must obtain within 6 months of hire. Must receive Competent Person Excavation certificate within one year of hire.
Pay is based on experience.

Must possess a valid Georgia Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Pay is based on experience.
